Globaler Aktionstag gegen Ökozid & Vertreibung:
NEIN zum „Maya“ Zug und der kolonialen Schiene der Deutschen Bahn

Die Recherche-AG des Netz der Rebellion, die Anti Colonial Alliance Berlin (ACAB),
die Initiative Demokratischer Konförderalismus (IDK), das Ya-Basta-Netz und die Delegation des
Congreso Nacional Indígena (CNI) in Europa rufen auf zur Teilnahme am Aktionstag gegen die DB
und den Tren „Maya“


Die gesamte Geschichte der Deutschen Bahn (DB) ist von Profit durch Krieg und Ausbeutung gekennzeichnet.
Die Reichsbahn stellte die Infrastruktur für den Holocaust.i DB Schenker transportierte später für den Faschisten
Franco in Spanien.ii Heute ist die DB-Tochter in 140 Ländern wie Katar und der Türkei aktiv und für
Rüstungstransporte in der ganzen Welt verantwortlich. In Deutschland nutzt „Deutschlands schnellster
Klimaschützer“ Strom aus dem Klimakiller Datteln IV, wo „Blutkohle“ etwa aus Kolumbien oder Russland
verbrannt wird, während die (indigene) Bevölkerung vor Ort vertrieben und Aktivistinnen* ermordet werden.iii

Von einem weiteren „Projekt des Todes“ profitiert die DB Consulting und Engineering, die einen millionenschweren
Vertrag zur Beteiligung am zynisch benannten „Maya-Zug“ im Süden Mexikos ergattern konnte. Das 1500 km lange
Infrastrukturprojekt zerstört einen der letzten großen Regenwälder des Kontinents und bedroht 23
Naturschutzgebiete. Die Regierung enteignet, vertreibt und kriminalisiert die Menschen in der Region. Sie verletzt
ein UN-Abkommen, dass der indigenen Bevölkerung das Recht zusichert, über das Projekt mitzubestimmen. Und
am Ende ist es vor allem ein Projekt der mexikanischen Armee. Diese baut, verwaltet und profitiert von den
Gewinnen des „Maya-Zuges“, der weder ein Zug noch Maya ist.

Das Megaprojekt muss im Zusammenhang mit weiteren Vorhaben in der Region gesehen werden, die alle
gemeinsam eine Migrationssperre für die flüchtenden Menschen aus Mittelamerika bilden. Die zynische Aneignung
des Namens „Maya“ fasst die Brutalität des Projektes zusammen: „Maya“ bleibt als Tourismusattraktion und
Restaurantkette, während die wahre Geschichte, Kultur, Lebensweise und (vor allem) die Maya-Bevölkerung selbst
durch Geldgier korrupter Eliten und die Privatwirtschaft eines globalen Kapitalismus ausgelöscht wird. Es zeugt
daher nur von Traditionsbewusstsein, wenn die Deutsche Bahn vorne mit dabei ist, doch beharrlich über ihr
Mitwirken schweigt. Viele weitere europäische Unternehmen (u,a. Renfe, Ineco, Alstom) sind am Projekt beteiligt.

Dabei geht es nicht – nie und auch nicht am 30.10. – „nur“ um diese wenigen Konzerne oder um den einen Tren
„Maya“, von dem es Tausende gibt. Es geht um das System eines kolonialen Kapitalismus, der durch seine Profitgier
alles Schöne auf dieser Welt beerdigt. Daher: Von Chiapas bis Kurdistan, von Lützerath bis Kolumbien –
Alle Gemeinsam gegen den Kapitalismus, beruhend auf Patriarchat, Rassismus und Kolonialismus.
Alle Gemeinsam am globalen Aktionstag am 30.10. gegen die DB’s dieser Welt!

Organisiert wird der dezentrale Aktionstag in mehreren Ländern (geplant u.a. in Mexiko, Spanien,
Frankreich, Deutschland). Informiert euch über die Aktionen in eurer Nähe oder plant eine eigene Aktion.

Dia de acción global contra el ecocidio y desplazamiento:
NO al Tren “Maya” y al tren colonial de la Deutsche Bahn


El grupo de investigación del red de rebellion, la Alianza Anticolonial de Berlín (ACAB),
la Iniciativa Conförderalismo Democrático (IDK), el red Ya-Basta y la delegación del Congreso
Nacional Indígena en Europa llaman a participar en la jornada de acción contra la empresa DB
y el Tren “Maya”.


Toda la historia de Deutsche Bahn (DB) está marcada por el beneficio a través de la guerra y la explotación.
El Reichsbahn proporcionó la infraestructura para el Holocausto. DB Schenker transportó más tarde para el fascista
Franco en España. En la actualidad, la filial de DB está presente en 140 países, como Qatar y Turquía, y es
responsable del transporte de armamento en todo el mundo. En Alemania, el “protector climático más rápido de
Alemania” utiliza electricidad del asesino climático Datteln IV, donde se quema “carbón de sangre” procedente de
Colombia o Rusia, mientras se desplaza a la población local (indígena) y se asesina a les activistas*.

Otro proyecto de guerra beneficia a DB Consulting and Engineering, que obtuvo un contrato multimillonario para
participar en el cínicamente llamado “Tren Maya” en el sur de México. El proyecto de infraestructura de 1.500 km
en la Península de Yucatán está destruyendo una de las últimas grandes selvas tropicales del continente y amenaza,
entre otras cosas, 23 reservas naturales! El gobierno está expropiando, desplazando y criminalizando a les habitantes
de la región. Está violando un acuerdo de la ONU que garantiza a la población indígena el derecho de consulta sobre
el proyecto. Y al final, es sobre todo un proyecto del ejército mexicano que onstruye, gestiona y se beneficia de los
beneficios del “Tren Maya”, que no es ni tren ni maya.

El megaproyecto debe verse en el contexto de otros proyectos en la región, que en conjunto forman una barrera
migratoria para las personas que huyen de Centroamérica. La cínica apropiación del nombre “maya” resume la
brutalidad del proyecto: “maya” queda como una atracción turística y una cadena de restaurantes, mientras que la
verdadera historia, la cultura, el modo de vida y (sobre todo) los propios pueblos mayas son víctimas de la codicia
de dinero de las élites corruptas y de la empresas privadas mundiales. Por lo tanto, sólo es un signo de sentido de la
tradición cuando Deutsche Bahn está en primera línea, pero calla sobre su participación, como muchas otras
empresas de Europa (Renfe, Alstom…).

No se trata – nunca y tampoco el 30.10. – “sólo” de estas pocas empresas o del único Tren “Maya”, del que hay
miles. Se trata del sistema de capitalismo colonial que entierra todo lo bello de este mundo bajo su afán de lucro.

Por lo tanto: De Chiapas a Kurdistán, de Lützerath a Colombia – Todes juntes contra el capitalismo basado
en el patriarcado, el racismo y el colonialismo. ¡Todes juntes contra los DB’s de este mundo!

La jornada de acción descentralizada se está organizando en varios países (prevista en México, España,
Francia y Alemania, entre otros). Infórmese sobre las acciones en su zona o planifique su propia acción.

Global action day against ecocide & displacement: NO to the “Maya” train and the colonial rail of DB


The Research-Group of the Network of Rebellion, the Anti Colonial Alliance Berlin (ACAB),
the Initiative of Democratic Conförderalism (IDK), the Ya-Basta-Network and the delegation of the
National Indigenous Congress (CNI) in Europe are calling for participation on the global action day
against the DB and the “Mayan-“Train.

The entire history of Deutsche Bahn (DB) is marked by profit through war and exploitation. The Reichsbahn
provided the infrastructure for the Holocaust. DB Schenker transported for the fascist Franco in Spain. Today, the
DB subsidiary is active in 140 countries such as Qatar and Turkey and is responsible for armament transports all
over the world. In Germany, “Germany’s fastest climate protector” uses electricity from the climate killer Datteln
IV, where “blood coal” from Colombia or Russia is burned while the local (indigenous) population is displaced and
activists* are murdered.

Another war project benefits DB Consulting and Engineering, which won a multi-million dollar contract to
participate in the cynically named “Maya Train” in southern Mexico. The 1500 km long infrastructure project on
the Yucatán Peninsula destroys one of the last large rainforests on the continent and threatens 23 nature reserves,
among others! The government is expropriating, displacing and criminalising the people in the region! It is violating
a UN agreement that guarantees the indigenous population the right to have a say in the project! And in the end, it
is above all a project of the Mexican army. It builds, manages and profits from the profits of the “Maya train”, which
is neither a train nor Maya.

The mega-project must be seen in the context of other projects in the region, all of which together form a migration
barrier for the fleeing people from Central America. The cynical appropriation of the name “Maya” sums up the
brutality of the project: “Maya” remains as a tourist attraction and restaurant chain, while the true history, culture,
way of life and (above all) the Maya peoples themselves fall victim to the greed for money of corrupt elites and
global private enterprise. It is therefore only a sign of a sense of tradition when Deutsche Bahn is at the forefront,
but persistently silent about its involvement. Many other European companies (Renfe, Ineco, Alstom) are involved
in the project!

It is not – never and also not on 30.10. – “only” about these few companies or about the one Tren “Maya”, of which
there are thousands. It is about the system of colonial capitalism that buries everything beautiful in this world under
its greed for profit.

Therefore: From Chiapas to Kurdistan, from Lützerath to Colombia – All Together against capitalism based
on patriarchy, racism and colonialism. All Together on the global day of action on 30.10. against the DB’s of
this world!

The decentralised day of action is being organised in several countries (planned in Mexico, Spain, France,
